Swaying Mood

Swaying Mood
Why do you have this kind of attitude?
For it always makes me Blue
Seeing you this way
It surely ruin my day

It's like an arrow hitting me deeply
And It's hurting me much within
How I wish to be insensitive
This will be a big help, I believe

Wondering when will you change?
For this makes us much of a stranger
We are no longer acting as partner
All you have in your heart is anger

I wish I have the power
To make this mood disappear
You know I always wonder
Why this keeps on repeating over and over

Life is short as they say
Let's be happy everyday
Be thankful for we are together
For we promised to stay forever

My precious son

Here's my precious son named : Joshua Reuben who just turned 3 years old last March 26, 2006. His name is after our Initials (J & R). Our son is our source of happiness and strength. Everyday when we get home from work, he will open the Gate and give us a very sweet smile that take away all the stress from the travel and work. That's how sweet our son is (i'm beginning to miss him now :'-(.

This afternoon at 1:27 pm (July 30, 2006) while at work, I decided to make a short poem that describes him. This is one way of releasing my boredome coz I am beginning to miss my son for it flashback the incident happenned last night while we were watching a Television and there's a portion wherein a Father and his daughter was crying together because they will be parting ways - and I was like thinking why is my son so quiet (coz he used to immitate children on TV's) so I turned to him and saw his tears on his face - he was also crying - - hahaha! Daddy and I were shocked and we started teasing him and laughed about it. Our son is growing up and it's wonderful to know that he can now relate to what he is watching.

Oh well... here's the short poem that I made for him...

My precious son

My Son's name is Joshua Reuben
He always want us to remain
Always on his side is what he aim
"Mommy - Daddy stay" is what he proclaim

Isn't he sweet?
Iloveyou is what he always repeat
We love him is what he always believe
Attention is what he always perceive

He always makes us smile
He always makes us laugh
He always makes our day bright
He gives us strength to survive

We love him so dearly
Hope he will always remain Healthy
May he remain Smart and Jolly
We pray that to God desperately

Iloveyou so much son... mwah!!!

Break at work

Our Team Building was held last April 23, 2006. It's a one hour team building, 30 minutes for "GAMES" and the other 30 minutes is for "CHOW". Well our games were composed of Bato Bato Pick (or what they call Jack and Poy) of which we used our legs instead of our hands. For the Stone both feet are in joint position it's like standing straight, for Paper it's an open legs and for Scissors its a cross legs. Sad to say we loose the game for just one point. LOL

The other one is called a Coin race were you need to put the coin inside the shirt and down to the pants. We also lost on this game hehehe. Our Food for that day is 8 boxes of pizza. Would you imagine how many pieces of pizza we have that day? I ate 4 pcs of pizza, two Hawaiian and two Super Supreme. Does it shows I hate pizza? LOL

He always claim that he is spider man. He even act as SpiderMan. He immitate him on his actions like sometimes he crawl on the floor and also on the wall and act like spiderman. I still remember when he's still a baby, he was so hyper and just for the record it's until now :). He always run, lift the water gallons, he throw chairs and climb tables hehehe. Before he has a 17 year old yaya and after a few days his YAYA told us that she wants to quit because Josh is so hyper and her ashma might get worst. LOL

The Difference Between Rich and Poor People

The Difference Between Rich and Poor People

One day, the father of a very wealthy family took his son on a trip to the country with the express purpose of showing him how poor people live.

They spent a couple of days and nights on the farm of what would be considered a very poor family.

On their return from their trip, the father asked his son, "How was the trip?" "

It was great, Dad."

"Did you see how poor people live?" the father asked.
"Oh yeah," said the son.
"So, tell me, what did you learn from the trip?" asked the father.

The son answered:

"I saw that we have one dog and they had four.

We have a pool that reaches to the middle of our garden and they have a creek that has no end.
We have imported lanterns in our garden and they have the stars at night.
Our patio reaches to the front yard and they have the whole horizon.
We have a small piece of land to live on and they have fields that go beyond our sight.
We have servants who serve us, but they serve others.
We buy our food, but they grow theirs.
We have walls around our property to protect us, they have friends to protect them."

The boy's father was speechless.

Then his son added, "Thanks Dad for showing me how poor we are."

Isn't perspective a wonderful thing? Makes you wonder what would happen if we all gave thanks for everything we have, instead of worrying about what we don't have.

Appreciate every single thing you have, especially your friends!

"Life is too short and friends are too few."

Thank You Jesus

Thank You Jesus

How lucky I am
To have you in my life
You're always there for me
And guide me in my every day life

You are my Savior and my Guide
That's how I describe you
And it's coming from my heart
Your rules I always abide

That shows how much you love me
You're always there to comfort me
When I am down and confused
You guide me through my decisions and never been refused

You made me decide what is best
I prayed and you did the rest
Especially when I'm depress
Goodness is all I can express

I know that I have committed a lot of Sins
But you have forgiven me by all means
Good words are not enough to describe you
My dear Savior how I really love you

I know my time will come
And judgement day will be done
Need to do something to enter your Kingdom
While I still have enough time

To make sure you have my name
And be listed on your book of life, I claim
And not on the book of Dead, no I don't there to remain
To be with you is what I want to maintain

When I meet you face to face
I will tell you how much I love you and that won't be erase
Thank you for you had given me a chance to live, I swear I am amaze
Thank you my Lord for you cannot be replaced

With my buddies in Baguio

With his Ninong Roger and Jowel at Melvin Jones Grandstand. Veniz Hotel in the background.

This picture was taken last August 2003. Josh was 5 months old then. We were on a coffee shop located along Session Road (forgot the name). I am with my buddies Roger and Jowel (taking the picture), they are both the Godfather of my Son. If you have watched the movie about a child that has three father (forgot the title) that's the scene we have on that day.

My wife is doing some ukay-ukay shopping, so we're the one taking care of Josh. We decided to do a Mall Hopping and we saw this Coffee Shop. The coffee is good and I think I ordered Cafe Mocha Latte, it's my first time to taste this kind of blend coffee. A couple of hours my son started to cry and asked for a milk. I checked his baby bag and there was no boiled water, my wife forgot to put it on my son's bag.

So I run down, went to session road to look for a grocery and end up on the upper session and there is a small grocery there. Luckily I was able to get a distilled water. Then run again towards the Coffee Shop. Thinking what was my buddies are doing to comfort my son to stop crying. After a few minutes I arrived at the coffee shop, Josh and Roger are not there. Jowel told me that roger strolled, then a after few minutes they came back.

Beside our table an old lady told us that she has been watching us since we arrived at the coffee shop, in her mind she's confused who might be the father of this Kid. When we heard that we all laughed and we told that Roger is his father. hehehe

Yum Yum! Chocolate Cake, my favorite. Thanks Mama :-)

Look at my Son! He's the one blowing the candle for me LOL. He always assume and thought that it's his Birthday (every time there's a cake)... Hehehe

He's not in the mood, because he wasn't able to have a complete sleep. He usually take a nap around 12:00 and sleep until 2:00 or 3:00 pm. This picture was taken around past 2:00 pm, that's why he doesn't want to be pictured. hehehe

My Lovable Son

My Lovable Son

I have a son named Joru
He is a gift from God
He is so playful and jolly
And he is so full of life

He loves to be pampered
He always wants our attention
Every morning he woke us up
With his soft voice calling our names
Mama, Daddy woke up

Time is so fast
It seems like yesterday when my wife bear this child
Seeing him getting bigger is a quite surprise
I hope this will never last

But in reality that will never happen
People get old and forgotten
Time will pass by and come
A family of his own and a father he will become

I pray to God that he become a good person
He will remain respectful in his every motion
May God control his emotion
And realize life has a lot of lessons

Leaving You

Leaving You

I'm happy to woke up every day
Seeing you beside me day by day
I thank the Lord for this wonderful day
Thank God, for He gave me another day

Another day with you
I'm glad I was able to hold and talk to you
Loosing you will make me blue
Believe me, this is all true

I keep on praying unto Him
Seriously, it's really coming from within
It's hard when you see someone leaving
Long life is what we are asking

My body is suffering
From the ill I am carrying
Having another day is amazing
Thank you God for this blessing

I want to take this opportunity
To thank you for the sympathy
Taking care of me is not that easy
Taking those extra task is hard, really

I love you so much my Dear
I know my time will come and yes it's real
Leaving you is hard and you would really feel
You would realize that I have been so sincere

Your Smile that make my day complete
Longing for your tender touch and love, would you mind to repeat?
I want to feel them and want this feelings to release
Just remember that I will always there for you, I promise

I will be guiding you on your everyday life
You can still talk to me even if I'm no longer alive
I will then visit you in your dreams
I will tell you stories that you will surely miss

I might be in heaven while reading this
Don't cry - please?
Just give me some kiss
Cheer up for I am in bliss

I will just wait for you here
I would love to be with you and feel
Someday it would become real
See you in the gate of heaven soon my Dear

A Day With A Smile

A Day With A Smile

What a great morning to see you smiling
Seeing your smile makes my heart jumping
For this is a good day to start
It's been a while since I see you smile

For I know you're heart is hurting
For our fights and nonstop arguing
Our differences is what I am thinking
I hope it's not yet late, darling

We can still do something
To save our love is the best thing
Seeing us this way is hurting
Parting is a bad thing

They said it's part of a Married life
Adjusting period until when we can survive?
The pain we have inside
I admit, I'm already tired

Our Son is whom who makes us together
Ofcourse, love is still there
He makes us forgive each other
And pride to each other we surrender

I know that God will guide us
To meet half way and to patch things up
Always remember that I love you so much
For having you is a gift from above

Buhay May-Asawa

Buhay May-Asawa

Team Building

This was taken during our team building. Every month we celebrate it to relax and to bond with our co-workers. It is up to us how we celebrate it. Sometimes we play games, we share ideas and information on how to handle or fix the issues that we are encountering in our everyday work and the most important is the Food. hehehe

Anyway, that's my hands.

See me! yan busog na Busog ako dyan, kaya di masyadong
makatawa at maka-galaw. Dami ko din nakain. LOL

This is my wife. See her smiling, because she ate a lot. hehehehe

This is my loving wife, I met her at work. Nakatawa parin no kasi busog na busog pa rin sya. :-)

Glass of Milk

This is a touching story and it is worth reading.

One day, a poor boy who was selling goods from door to door to pay for his hungry stomach, decided he would ask for a meal at the next house. On the way through school, he found he had only one thin dime left and he was very hungry. However, he lost his nerve when a lovely young woman opened the door. Instead of a meal he asked for a drink of water. The woman thought he looked hungry, so brought him a large glass of milk.

He drank it slowly, and then asked, "How much do I owe you?"

"You don't owe me anything," she replied. "Mother has taught us, never toaccept pay for a kindness."

He said....."Then I thank you from my heart."

Year's later that young woman became critically ill. The local doctors were baffled. They finally sent her to the big city, where they called in specialists to study her rare disease.

Dr. Howard Kelly was called in for the consultation. When he heard the name of the town she came from, a strange light filled his eyes. Immediately he rose and went down the hall of the hospital to her room. Dressed in his doctor's gown he went in to see her. He recognized her at once. He went back to the consultation room determined to do his best to save her life.

From that day he gave special attention to the case. After a long struggle, the battle was won. Dr. Kelly requested the business office to pass the final bill to him for approval. He looked at it, then wrote some- thing on the edge and the bill was sent to her room.

The woman feared opening it, for she was sure it would take the rest of her life to pay for it all. Finally she looked, and something caught her attention on the side of the bill.

She read these words....."Paid in full with one glass of milk."

Signed, Dr. Howard Kelly. Tears of joy flooded her eyes as her happy heart prayed: "Thank You,God, that Your love has spread abroad through human hearts and hands."

Banana

This email was forwarded to me and so I decided to publish it here. It's about banana.
This will be helpful to those people who are body concious.

After Reading THIS, you'll NEVER look at a banana in the same way again!

Bananas Containing three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber, a banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy. Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

Depression: According to a recent survey undertaken by MIND amongst people suffering from depression, many felt much better after eating a banana. This is because bananas contain tryptophan, a type of protein that the body converts into serotonin, known to make you relax, improve your mood and generally make you feel happier.

PMS: Forget the pills -- eat a banana. The vitamin B6 it contains regulates blood glucose levels, which can affect your mood.

Anemia: High in iron, bananas can stimulate the production of hemoglobin in the blood and so helps in cases of anemia.

Blood Pressure: This unique tropical fruit is extremely high in potassium yet low in salt, making it the perfect way to beat blood pressure. So much so, the US Food and Drug Administration has just allowed the banana industry to make official claims for the fruit's ability to reduce the risk of blood pressure and stroke.

Brain Power: 200 students at a Twickenham (Middlesex) school were helped through their exams this year by eating bananas at breakfast, break, and lunch in a bid to boost their brain power. Research has shown that the potassium-packed fruit can assist learning by making pupils more alert.

Constipation: High in fiber, including bananas in the diet can help restore normal bowel action, helping to overcome the problem without resorting to laxatives.

Hangovers: One of the quickest ways of curing a hangover is to make a banana milkshake, sweetened with honey. The banana calms the stomach and, with the help of the honey, builds up depleted blood sugar levels, while the milk soothes and re-hydrates your system. Heartburn: Bananas have a natural antacid effect in the body, so if you suffer from heartburn, try eating a banana for soothing relief.

Morning Sickness: Snacking on bananas between meals helps to keep blood sugar levels up and avoid morning sickness.

Mosquito bites: Before reaching for the insect bite cream, try rubbing the affected area with the inside of a banana skin. Many people find it amazingly successful at reducing swelling and irritation.

Nerves: Bananas are high in B vitamins that help calm the nervous system.

Overweight and at work? Studies at the Institute of Psychology in Austria found pressure at work leads to gorging on comfort food like chocolate and chips. Looking at 5,000 hospital patients, researchers found the most obese were more likely to be in high-pressure jobs. The report concluded that, to avoid panic-induced food cravings, we need to control our blood sugar levels by snacking on high carbohydrate foods every two hours to keep levels steady.

Ulcers: The banana is used as the dietary food against intestinal disorders because of its soft texture and smoothness. It is the only raw fruit that can be eaten without distress in over-chronicler cases. It also neutralizes over-acidity and reduces irritation by coating the lining of the stomach.

Temperature control: Many other cultures see bananas as a "cooling" fruit that can lower both the physical and emotional temperature of expectant mothers. In Thailand, for example, pregnant women eat bananas to ensure their baby is born with a cool temperature.

Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD): Bananas can help SAD sufferers because they contain the natural mood enhancer tryptophan.

Smoking: Bananas can also help people trying to give up smoking. The B6, B12 they contain, as well as the potassium and magnesium found in them, help the body recover from the effects of nicotine withdrawal.

Stress: Potassium is a vital mineral, which helps normalize the heartbeat, sends oxygen to the brain and regulates your body's water balance. When we are stressed, our metabolic rate rises, thereby reducing our potassium levels. These can be rebalanced with the help of a high-potassium banana snack.

Strokes: According to research in "The New England Journal of Medicine," eating bananas as part of a regular diet can cut the risk of death by strokes by as much as 40%!

So, a banana really is a natural remedy for many ills. When you compare it to an apple, it has four times the protein, twice the carbohydrates, three times the phosphorus, five times the vitamin A and iron, and twice the other vitamins and minerals. It is also rich in potassium and is one of the best value foods around. So maybe its time to change that well-known phrase so that we say, "A banana a day keeps the doctor away!"
